African Americans like Juwan are under-represented on the National Bone Marrow registry. This means that every patient with a blood cancer like leukemia or lymphoma, who is also Black, only has a 23% chance of finding a matching stem cell donor.
The only way that this can be corrected, is by getting more people, across all ethnic diversities, to include themselves on the registry.
Please include yourself. Ask your friends and family to add themselves.
The only way we can save more lives is by doing it together.
Together we will save more lives.
